HELLO from a long time ago person

I haven't been on for a long time since I moved over to Facebook.  I miss a lot of the people, but I have never missed the drama that happens here.  I checked in today to share and catch up.  Yesterday was my 4 year surgervarsary.  Since then I have lost 175 lbs, yes I am still losing.  I love my RNY, I still do not drink sodas, don't each much and as I said I am continuing to lose weight.  I still have about 45 lbs to lose to get to where I think I want to be, but as every doc has told me, my body is probably just done. But I work at it all the time, and I am so happy that I had this done.  My highest weight was 392, and now I am getting so close to 200 I can smell it.  I plan on making it by by birthday in Feb.  IF I see a 190 anything on my scale that would be the first time in over 46 years.  We shall see what happens.

It is great to see some old faces still here, and Hello to all the newbies.  To all of you that have had surgery within the year, I am hoping that knowing that this weightloss surgery is good for as long as you make it work for you, will inspire you to never give up.

To all my old friends on here.  SO good to see so many smiling THINNER faces.  Hugs and love to all

Hello my friend....

Its good to see you around here agian. You have been missed...

As stated by others, there is NO drama any more. They have all moved on with there lifes. There is no much going on around here any longer. I try to post the morning post but when I am not getting up to work, or when I am being held hostage in my bed room, (my nephew are started to spend the weekend, driving me NUTS) I hope that you are able to come and hang out with us.

How are YOU doing? How is the back? or is the PS? I hope you find the time to let us know.

Good morning Diane,

I am happy to see you are doing well.  I know with your determination you will see 19X something next year.  Great to hear from you, you were one of the first to give me advice when I first joined this forum in 1/2009.

Hi Diane!

I haven't seen a lot of drama lately, but I mostly just skim here so I may have missed it.

Hi Diane,

I haven't seen or talked to you in like forever.  Shame on me.  Life just keeps getting in the way of everything.  LOL

Anyway, I hope you are feeling back to normal and enjoying life.  Mike and I are doing good.  Working hard cause we have no choice.  For some reason those bill collectors just keep demanding that we pay our way.  Geesh!!

I hope we get to see you soon.  We miss you both.  Send our regards to Doug.

Love you,
Steph

Well thank you all.  My tummy tuck is much better now, but I will have it redone when they figure out why my back isn't responding very well.  Last the doc said was it sounds like it didnt work.  I am not sure I can do another one but one thing at a time, first a CT scan and then see why it still hurts so much.  When the back is better, I will go back to Dr Lee and he will do a small cut and take off the skin that is left.  He did a wonderful job of taking care of me considering all the bad things that happened.  It was a long recovery from it, and I am on the downhill side now.  Dr Lee released me last week and the wound should be closed up within another week.  But I am so happy with the results.  My biggest problem now is I can't see pass my boobs....I didn't know that they were so dang big.  (is that TMI?)

So that is it kids.  Lu I hope that your sister is doing better.  I try to keep up on things.  Steph I hear you are going somewhere for Christmas, but I am sure I will see you at the end of the year.  YES shame on you, and shame on me too.  The phone works both ways.  All vacations are on hold right now, we had to place my dad in a home for patients with demenisa....what a horrible disease.  But there is hope with a new medication that the doctor started him on last month.  I miss having him around, but it is so nice to be alone with Doug again after 17 years with my parents living here.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas.  Please all take care, and I will come back sooner than later and check in on things.

Love to all

Diane,
It is so nice to see your smiling face again. I think your body takes a long time to heal from surgeries! I am glad you are doing better. How is the back doing? We are doing fine. You probably saw my youngest is engaged now. We are so excited. Well you have a Merry Christmas and take care!
